The Senn Cemetery is located off of Belfast Highway in Newberry County. It is accessible by traveling through the private property of several landowners that are related. There were 3 families named Senn that came from Tecknau, Switzerland to South Carolina in 1736. One was Jacob Senn and the other two were Heini Senn just to makes things confusing. All three families settled in Richland County but then the Jacob Senn family and one of the Heini Senn families moved to Newberry County. After much research it turns out that the Senn descendants buried here are not related to the Senn descendants that own the land. It had been sold out of the family in 1868.
